The Research Development Academy offers a range of personal and professional development opportunities, including coaching, management skills, project management, research work, mentoring, and networking with senior administrators. The program's key components are as follows:
1.Applicants apply for internships via the AstraAcademia website, selecting between mentorship programs or educational courses.
2. Qualified applicants are interviewed to assess their fit for the program.
3.Accepted interns are introduced to their project manager and begin working on hands-on projects alongside our professional team, while maintaining a research logbook.
4.Interns participate in educational courses aligned with AstraAcademia's Knowledge Tree, gaining skills in project management, interdisciplinary teamwork, quality assurance, and personal development.
5.After completing the internship and passing exams, participants receive certification and may join AstraBionics as experts.

Caption: Design and analyze the mechanical systems that integrate human movement with advanced prosthetics.

Technical Details: Involved in understanding human anatomy and replicating natural movement for the Smart Prosthetic Hand. Focus on joint motion, load distribution, and ergonomics for creating a prosthetic that mirrors human function.

Skills Needed: Knowledge of human biomechanics, CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), mechanical testing, kinematics, material analysis, and team collaboration.

Mechanical Engineering

Caption: Engineer robust mechanical systems for prosthetic devices and control mechanisms.

Technical Details: Responsible for designing the mechanical structure of both the Smart Prosthetic Hand and Control Glove. This involves creating flexible and durable joints, motor integration, and ensuring high mechanical performance.

Skills Needed: CAD design, finite element analysis (FEA), 3D printing, mechanical prototyping, mechatronics, and problem-solving.

Artificial Intelligence

Caption: Develop intelligent systems for seamless human-machine interaction in prosthetics and control systems.

Technical Details: AI models for gesture recognition in the Control Glove, and machine learning algorithms that adapt to user movements in the Smart Prosthetic Hand. Focus on creating a feedback loop that enables real-time adaptation to user behavior.

Skills Needed: Machine learning (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch), neural networks, signal processing, computer vision, sensor data fusion, and embedded AI systems.

Industrial Design

Caption: Create ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing designs for wearable tech that seamlessly blends with human anatomy.

Technical Details: Focus on the user-centered design of the Smart Prosthetic Hand and Control Glove. Create lightweight, durable, and aesthetically pleasing products that provide comfort and ease of use.

Skills Needed: 3D modeling, user experience (UX) design, prototyping, ergonomics, material selection, and rapid iteration design.

Electrical Engineering

Caption: Power the future with precision circuitry for prosthetics and wearable control systems.

Technical Details: Design and implement the electrical systems in the Smart Prosthetic Hand, focusing on motor control, sensor integration, and power efficiency. For the Control Glove, work on the electrical signal processing and wireless communication systems.

Skills Needed: Circuit design, microcontrollers (Arduino/Raspberry Pi), signal processing, wireless communication (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi), and power management.

Control Engineering

Caption: Master the feedback systems that enable precise motion control in prosthetics and wearable devices.

Technical Details: Develop the control algorithms for the Smart Prosthetic Hand, ensuring smooth and responsive movement. In the Control Glove, work on gesture recognition algorithms and signal feedback systems for real-time control.

Skills Needed: Control theory, PID controllers, MATLAB/Simulink, robotics, real-time systems, and sensor fusion.
